A LITTLE BACKGROUND
Growing up in the northern region of Lebanon, Misha’s childhood was infused with the aromas of spices, the sizzle of grills, and the warmth of family gatherings around the dining table.
Her earliest memories revolve around the kitchen, where her mother crafted dishes that not only satisfied hunger but also told stories of generations past.
Life took Misha to Zurich, Switzerland, where she discovered a melting pot of cultures, each with its own culinary tapestry. Despite being surrounded by a diverse gastronomic landscape, she felt a deep calling to share the authentic flavors of Lebanon in a way that resonated with the varied tastes of her new home.
Oliv Origin resembles Misha’s connection with her Lebanese origin and sharing one’s culture through the joy of communal dining. It signifies a dedication to creating dishes that are not only tasty but also provide a fusion of contemporary and timeless elements in the chef’s offerings.
